Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre
Located in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre is dedicated to preserving the
heritage and culture of the Inuit, Inuvialuit, Dene, Metis, and non-aboriginal peoples of the NWT. The Northern Heritage Centre houses the territorial museum,
the NWT Archives, and heritage programs which extend beyond the walls of the Centre.
Canadian Museum of Civilization
The Museums Act (1990) establishes the Canadian Museum of Civilization Corporation (CMCC) as a national institution responsible for
preserving and promoting the heritage of Canada, and contributing to the collective memory and sense of identity of all Canadians.
Government of Nunavut
Nunavut -- "our land" in the Inuktitut language - has been home to Inuit for millennia and part of Canada for more than a
century. Embracing both traditional knowledge and values and the new opportunities presented by technologies like the Internet, the Government of
Nunavut now provides a wide range of services tailored to the unique needs of approximately 29,000 residents.

Kitikmeot Heritage Society
The Kitikmeot Heritage Society preserves, promotes and celebrates the history, culture, language and diversity of the people of the Kitikmeot by:
Collecting and archiving the oral histories of the elders; Preserving archaeological sites through oral history and archaeological study;
Collecting historical information and archives; Using the information collected to promote and preserve Inuinnaqtun and Inuktitut;
Developing educational and learning materials; Promoting and celebrating the cultures and traditions of the people.

and participation in Canada's civic life, and strengthen connections among Canadians.

Parks Canada deals with all aspects of the National Parks of Canada, National Historic Sites of Canada and National Marine Conservation
Areas of Canada.
Inuit Tapiriit Kanatami
Our organization is over 30 years "young". We've accomplished some of our major goals
- the settlement of comprehensive land claim agreements in the four Inuit regions. We've also been present during the patriation of the Canadian
constitution. Now, the Inuit of Canada are in the post land-claim era. We continue to struggle to represent the rights of the Inuit at the national
level, and continue working to improve living conditions for Inuit economically and socially. This section will show you who we are, the history of our
organization, and what our current projects are.

Caring for Arctic Heritage Resources and extending knowledge, the ACR is a long-term, holistic research project.
Global awareness of Arctic peoples can be developed through wide accessibility of information which is digitized and managed
