Zipporah has been the Traditional Place Names Coordinator for Inuit Heritage Trust since December 2013. She works closely with Elders along with the Director of Traditional Place Names. Her work ensures that all the Inuktut place names and locations recorded are correct and accurate to the local dialect.
 

She works to ensure that Inuit perspectives on place names are observed before they are brought to IHT's Board of Trustees for approval.
