The Nunavut Heritage Network (NHN) is Coordinated by Inuit Heritage Trust, who acts as the territorial museum association. The NHN consists of at least 60 heritage stakeholders and interested parties across Nunavut. Its mandate is ‘Facilitating a collective support network towards building capacity through promotion, education, and preservation of Nunavut’s heritage’. Thus these stakeholders are committed to working together to strengthen our heritage organizations, heritage programming in communities, developing a dynamic heritage sector for Nunavut and putting Nunavut’s heritage presence out to the world.

Organizations Across Nunavut

Nunavut has a number of heritage organizations including museums, visitor centers, parks visitor centers, regional tourist facilities, school museums as well as communities that do heritage programming through various organizations such as their hamlet office, Nunavut Arctic College Community Learning Centers or their local schools.
